ZappioTerms of Use
By installing and using Zappio, published by 9451-1839 Québec inc. (Markaitek), you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of the service
Zappio is a media player for IPTV streams that you configure yourself. Zappio does not provide, host or resell any content, channel, film or series. No content subscription is sold through the app.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must have your own lawful IPTV source (Xtream Codes or M3U) from a third-party provider.
- You are solely responsible for the legality, in your jurisdiction, of the streams and content you configure and watch.
- You agree not to use Zappio to access content you are not entitled to.
3. Accounts
Creating an account (via Apple or Google) is optional and serves only to sync your settings. You are responsible for the security of your account.
4. Zappio Premium subscription
Zappio offers two auto-renewing subscriptions: a monthly plan and an annual plan. Both grant the same benefits: no advertising, no watermark during playback, and use on up to 5 devices.
Price. The applicable price is the one shown in the app before any purchase; it varies with the country and currency of your Apple Account. For reference, in Canada: CA$2.99 per month or CA$24.99 per year.
Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for an identical period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; the portion already paid is not refunded, except where the law provides otherwise.
Purchases and refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own terms, not by Markaitek.
Device limit. A subscription may be active on at most 5 devices. The list of registered devices can be viewed and edited in the app's settings; you may remove one to free a slot.
5. Free version: advertising and watermark
The free version is funded by advertising served through Google AdMob, and displays a “Zappio” watermark overlaid during playback.
On Apple apps, the ads are non-personalised: no tracking permission is requested and the app does not track you across apps. A Premium subscription removes both the advertising and the watermark.
6. Offline downloads
Zappio can save content from your source onto your device for offline viewing. Zappio does not re-encode or recompress anything: when your provider offers several versions of the same title, the app measures their actual size and lets you choose, with the lightest offered by default.
Downloaded files are stored locally and take up space on your device. They are removed along with the app. You remain solely responsible for the rights attached to the content you download.
7. Third-party services
To enrich what is displayed and to power certain features, Zappio queries independent third-party services. Zappio is affiliated with none of them, does not control them, and is not responsible for the accuracy or availability of the information they produce:
- TMDB — posters, backdrops, cast, country and original language. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
- OMDb — IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic ratings.
- TVmaze — public series metadata.
- Google AdMob — advertising in the free version.
- YouTube — trailer playback.
- DeepSeek — automatic classification of your stream's category names into generic genres. Requests pass through a relay server operated by Markaitek; only category names are sent — never your credentials or your source address.
- Cloudflare — optional connection speed test.
- Apple and Google — account sign-in, if you use it.
Zappio also operates a shared enrichment index on its own server: a title signature (normalised title and year) is sent there to retrieve the work's identifier, original language and country. This index is shared across users because catalogues overlap heavily; it holds no account data.

8. Intellectual property
The application, its interface and the “Zappio” brand belong to Markaitek. Content played through the app belongs to its respective rights holders and is not supplied by Zappio.
9. No warranty
Zappio is provided “as is”. We do not warrant the availability, quality or legality of the third-party streams you configure, nor uninterrupted operation of the sync service, of downloads, or of the third-party services listed in section 7.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Markaitek shall not be liable for damages arising from use of the app, from the unavailability of third-party sources, or from the interruption of a third-party service.
11. Termination
You may stop using Zappio and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access in cases of abusive or unlawful use. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: that is cancelled from your Apple Account settings (section 4).

These terms may change. The date at the top of the page indicates the last revision.
